Christmas House Tour!

I've been totally MIA for the past week!
Christmas snuck up on me this year and I have been making a mad dash to get my house decorating before the family starts pouring in for the month!
I decided that we should decorate our house before Thanksgiving this year (since we were out of town), and boy, am I glad that I did, because our Thanksgiving trip was a disaster.
10 hour car ride with a todder + husband who slipped a disk = HELL.

So, without further ado, here is my Christmas house tour!

The foyer:

In my living room, I have everything traditional, and that means burgundy and gold.

The mantle and tree #1.
Greyson's stocking was missing because it was off being monogrammed.
I'm kind of a tree-Nazi. Meaning, all my presents have to match the decor. If you send us a present that doesn't match the tree, it goes behind the tree. Sorry.
In my kitchen and keeping room, the decor is much more fun and kid-friendly.
The keeping room mantle.
Who else saw this cute glitter tree tutorial on Eighteen 25?  Super easy and the PERFECT touch for a mantle!
My house has a lot of lime green, so what else would I have but a lime green tree?

Merry Christmas everyone!  Coming up this week, a "Cookies with Santa" party!
I'm off to put the finishing touches on that one now!

  5. I love all the colors. I was surprised to see that Walmart had some beautiful ornaments in all your colors. I'm a sucker to turquoise.
