My baby sister lives in NYC and I am in the process of planning another trip to see her this summer. So, NY has been on my mind...planning and thinking about what spots I want to hit while I am there, touristing-it-up with her. So, then I was thinking that an "I LOVE NY" party would be so, so adorable! I had a little time on my hands, a rainy day, some boredom, a napping child, and voila!

Things are coming along with the Feather Her Nest Sip and See! It is just a few short weeks and we are ramping up the ideas and decor!
Here is a little sneak peek of the wreath I made for the front door....
It is white maribou feather lengths with guinea feather inserted for depth. I thought the guinea feathers really brought out the "bird" concept and made it not look so bridal.

My sister-in-law, Tara, did a gorgeous job with this very sweet theme! Cupcakes!
Little Kate turned one this past week and I just got these precious pictures yesterday and couldn't wait to share them, with permission of course!
You can't see in this picture, but her bloomers are embroidered with a cupcake!
Tara doesn't forget one detail.
The "cherries" for the Pin The Cherry on the Cupcake Game are even color coded for boys or girls and they have each child's name on them.
One of my favorite details is the table runner, which has cupcakes sewn to each end.
But, the piece d'resistance are the cupcakes toppers.
They are Kate's HEAD! Honestly, I can't stop looking at them. They are so cute it makes my head explode.
A perfect sweet theme for a perfect little sweet cupcake!
Such a great party Tara, wish we could have been there! :(

My dear friend Kari took some gorgeous photos for me of Greyson's party and I just got them today. To say that I was excited is an understatement. If Grey hadn't been napping, I probably would have squealed like a little girl.
Kari is SUPER talented and she is really making a name for herself in the Arkansas market! I am SO proud of her! Visit her website here:
Enjoy the pics!
