Halloween is such a fun time of  year! It seems like, in my family, that the month of October is ALWAYS crazy! We have so many things going on with school; Halloween, birthday parties, pumpkin patch, etc. It seems like we have plans every single weekend.  Add that to the already busy school year and it makes for a crazy house. It's hard to be the ultimate Pinterest Mom in October, but I can show you one easy way! Since I recently started working with #collectivebias, I was super excited to create this #easytomakedessert to help moms or dads make a cute Halloween treat for their kids!
Come see how I made this treat for my little guys using Snack Pack pudding cups!

Back when I was in high school, the movie Billy Madison came out and I swear that my friends and I watched it over and over and over and over. We quote it to this day.
One of our favorite quotes is "Why can't you just GIVE ME A SNACK PACK!?"
I think of it every time that I see #snackpack Pudding in Walmart.
It's on aisle 21 at my local Wal-Mart. They have TONS of flavors to choose from.

My boys (the little ones AND the husband) are all crazy for all-things banana pudding flavored. So, when I wanted to come up with a cute Halloween DIY, one of the first things I thought of was banana pudding. BUT, since it's Halloween of course, I changed it to "Boo-Nana pudding."
One of my favorite recipes is Banana Pudding Poke Cake. It's super easy and a crowd-pleaser, for sure!
If your kids are anything like my youngest, they are ridiculously picky eaters. But, here's a sneaky, yummy way to get them some calcium-because Snack Packs have as much as an 8 ounce glass of milk. Mom score!

So, here is what you need to make it super cute!

Snack Pack Pudding Cups--Banana Cream Pie Flavor
(You could also do this recipe with chocolate or vanilla flavors too!)
Yellow Cake Mix (any brand)
9 ounce clear plastic party cups
Reddi-Whip
Black Piping Gel (chocolate chips would work too)

To make the cups extra cute, I glittered them!
Here is what you need for that step:

9 oz plastic cups
Sponge Brush
Any color glitter
Mod Podge
Tray to catch the extra glitter

First, simply draw a line around the bottom on your cup with some Mod Podge, then, go around the bottom, filling in any spots that the brush missed.

Sprinkle the glitter onto the glue and then shake off the excess in your tray.

These will need a few hours to dry, but aren't they cute?

While the cups are drying, let's start making cupcakes.
I simply used a boxed yellow cake mix. You can leave it yellow, or you can add a little food coloring to make it orange!

In this case, I added a *tiny* drop of red food coloring to gift the cupcake batter a soft, candy-corn, orange.

When your cupcakes are baked and cooled, cut the tops off of them. Try not to gorge on all the leftover tops.
Then, poke holes into them with a fork or whatever you have lying around. I used a chopstick.

Remove the wrappers from the cupcakes and drop them into the cute little glittered cups.
Did you know that cupcakes fit perfectly into 9 ounce party cups? Well, you do now!

After that, spoon out your Snack Pack pudding into each cup. I smoothed the tops of the pudding down with a spoon to make it look more precise. As you can see, any flavor of Snack Pack works great.
At this point, I recommend refrigerating them overnight to help the Snack Pack pudding sink into the holes.
If you don't have the time, then a few hours works great.

After your poke cakes are all chilled, top them with Reddi Whip!
A disclaimer here: Do not top them until you are ready to serve.
That is not my giant man-hand. That is my handsome assistant, aka Mr. GreyGrey Designs.

If you want them to look extra scary, give the ghosts some eyes and mouths using piping gel.
Chocolate chips or candies would work great too!
