{My Parties} Peppa Pig Party

Peeeppppa Pig!
If you have a toddler or preschooler, then you are definitely familiar with Peppa Pig!
Confession, every time my youngest watches it, I go around talking in a little posh British accent for several hours. I love how she says "Geoooorge!"
I styled this party for Birthday Express back in the Summer and I am just now catching up with posting it here! It's been a busy year!
So, let's start with how to make your very own DIY Peppa Pig Party Backdrop using only craft store items! I've made this handy dandy YouTube video explaining just how to do it!
I promise that it is SO easy!

So, now that you've got your backdrop ready, let's talk about the party food!
For Peppa, you can never have too much pink!
I started with these cute pink dessert stands that I made using some products from the craft store; candlesticks and wooden plaques.

For my cake, I did a simple chocolate cake with sprinkles, inspired by the Birthday Express partyware. I added pink gumballs around the base and then I simply printed out a Peppa Pig logo on photopaper and added some paper straws to sink it into the cake.
I also printed out some adorable toppers for my cupcakes, using characters from Peppa Pig. I printed them on photo paper and then cut them out and hot-glued them to cupcake picks (you could also use toothpicks).
One of my favorite details from this party are these adorable Peppa Pig chocolate lollipops! They look so sweet in this little picket fence container that I picked up at an antique store.
If you watch Peppa, then you know she loves her muddy puddles! I picked up on that theme by using little shots of chocolate milk in these mini Mason jars. Aren't they precious? And the tops keep it from being so messy!

And, of course there had to be sugar cookies! I love these!
Also, how perfect that they were exactly the same size as the Peppa on the plates?

Another fun food item for any pig themed party is "curly tails" or curly fries!
What kid doesn't love curly fries? Display them in these cute cups, and you're guaranteed to have some happy little piggies!

For favors, send your littles home with these cute cupcake carrying boxes! That way they can enjoy a cupcake later, after they've already filled up on all the cute snacks!
