{My Parties} Employee Appreciation Garden Party

I've been meaning to share this beautiful party for months!
Some of my favorite clients hosted this gorgeous party last spring for their company's longtime employees.
The setting was supposed to be outside and be a garden theme, but the weather sometimes has other plans for you in the spring!
So, to avoid the rain and wind, we brought the garden inside their stunning home!
We began by moving all their furniture out and bringing in these beautiful rentals from White Door Events.

My design focused on the colors of the company's logo, kelly green and bright blue. So, to play on that, I did a bright white chiavari chair, paired with bright blue chair pads.
Then, for the linen, I chose these cobalt blue scroll patterned cloth.
A simple white charger with white napkins, wooden napkin rings, and these bright blue place cards, hand-lettered by my cousin, set the table for a perfect garden party.

The beautiful florals were created by my friends Jon and Lee at L&Jay Productions. I love these tall white glass vases topped with tone on tone white and green blooms. I am a huge fan of Amaranthus because I love the "dripping" quality that they give arrangements. Jon added some gorgeous peonies because they are the client's favorite, along with Dusty Millers, and Hydrangeas.

In the client's entryway, they added these simple, yet elegant arrangements to welcome the guests.

My favorite element of this event is this cake table. I am completely in love with this linen, called the Gatsby linen from White Door Events. It has so much texture and it looks like leaves, which was perfect for this theme.
We elevated the cake off the table, using an acrylic topper, and underneath were more blooms.

The fabulous cake featured the company's logo, and air canisters on fondant. Mad Lily Cakery always does beautiful work for me!

To honor the 4 employees with over 20 years of service, I created these photo displays using hula hoops and ribbon. I love how they turned out!

Each place setting also had a special favor from Phillip Ashley Chocolates. Phillip customized these chocolates for me by adding the company logo to each individual chocolate. What a fun, personalized, but elegant option for a favor!

The guests were really in for a treat when the dinner came! The wonderful Restaurant Iris, Iris Etc. catered this event and because of the rain altering our plans, they prepared it right in front of the guests. So, it was like sitting at the chef's table! Doesn't this look delicious?  It was!

I loved getting to see this dinner created!

I love seeing happy guests enjoying themselves!
