{My Parties} Shopkins Party

Shopkins, Shopkins!
Shopkins are definitely THE party theme for little girls in 2016!
They are everywhere!
As an 80s baby, they remind me of Charmkins. Does anyone else remember those? They smelled delicious!

A few months ago, I styled this party for Birthday Express and it was so fun to do! I love every single little cute character! There are a million different ways to go with this party theme because there are so many cute Shopkins to incorporate!

I started my party with this big vinyl wall sticker. I left it on the paper backing and instead, used it as the centerpiece of the backdrop by surrounding it with cute pink and blue paper fans in all different patterns. I added some yellow tissue honeycombs as well.

I based the pink and blue color scheme on the party ware designs with this bright pink border with a blue stripe background. For the tablecloth, I used 3 yards of blue and white striped fabric over a white cloth.
I had SO much fun coming up with cute food ideas for this party!
So many Shopkins, so little time!
I knew that I had to have cake pops in the shapes of the Shopkins that were pictured on the decal, so I reached out to my friend Nicole at Bella's Bakery and Bowtique. She's a magician!
Get ready for 100 cake pop pictures because I could barely stand how awesome they were!

I mean, CAN YOU EVEN???
They are amazing!!  I can't even pick a favorite!
They are all so incredible!
To display them, I used pink and purple straws, which I displayed in a hat box, made to look like a faux birthday cake.

For the other fun treats, I had this "edible nail polish" based on Polly Polish, which are SO easy to make! All they are is a marshmallow covered in candy melts with a tootsie roll on top!

And of course, chocolate chip cookies for Kooky Cookie!

I think my favorite Shopkin is Toasty Bread. I think it's so adorable! So, to incorporate that one, I did some treat cups full of French Toast Crunch cereal!

Poppy Corn is a must too! So, I popped up some regular microwave popcorn for a salty treat.

And since no party is complete without cupcakes, Cupcake Queen made an appearance with these cute pink sprinkle cupcakes topped with actual Shopkins. This is a super-fun and easy idea for cupcake toppers because the girls can take them home!

For additional favors, I had to include some little nail polishes and cupcake lip glosses for the girls to take home in their favor boxes!

I hope this gave you some fun ideas for your Shopkins party!
I bet you're going to be seeing A LOT of these in the near future!
