What is better than a good ole' pizza party?
A pizza party is a classic party theme for kids and adults alike.
But today I am going to show you how I elevated the pizza party into a super cute party that you can do yourself! I'm going to show you how my friends at Shindigz helped me make it extra awesome for my big guy.
This party was for my 8 year old this year. We kept it small, only inviting his grandparents and close family. He gets easily overwhelmed with crowds, so we thought this would be a great way to celebrate him with his two favorite things: pizza and his family.
I started with an easy backdrop of red, white, and green tissue festooning, arranged into an Italian flag. It's such an easy DIY!
On the table, I used a white fabric tablecloth, covered with a plastic red and white checkered tablecloth.
To set my table, I used some wooden boxes and risers, and simple metal containers turned on their tops as builds for my treats. I added some cute squares of gingham as well.
How adorable are these? The detail is just amazing!
For the kiddos, I also had these cute gummy pizzas.
For a banner, I crafted this cute pizza banner from felt. It's so easy! All it takes is some scissors, hot glue, and ribbon.
With my leftover felt, I customized this chipboard G by making it pizza themed. I've used this same G at all of his 8 birthday parties!
My favorite part of this party was the CAKE!
The deep dish pizza cake that is!
Seriously, how CUTE is this???
It was so delicious too!
The final touch were these giant balloons tied with squares of gingham fabric!
And of course, my sweet faced little pizza loving man.
It was the perfect little pizza party for my perfect little guy.
