{My Parties} Angry Birds Birthday Party

Drop your nuts and move your butts!
It's time for an Angry Birds party!
I can't believe it has been a year since this party! My little guy went through a major Angry Birds phase right as this movie came out last summer, so all he wanted was an Angry Birds party!

I had a lot of fun with this one, because I love going over the top with a theme.
We had the party at our house, so I tried to make it look like you were in the video game.
I started with these giant TNT boxes from Shindigz  I printed out the Angry Birds TNT logo that was a free download and glued them right to the boxes.
I stacked the boxes on top of the table to really make it look like the game.

On the tops of each TNT box, I used colored lanterns to match the characters. I downloaded their faces and printed them out and glued them on. Then, I added a feather to each of the birds as well.

On the table, I used a simple black and white tablecloth and then made my own feather garland using craft feathers in primary colors. I hot glued it directly to some ribbon to make it.

For our cake, I found a cute design while searching the internet and had my baker modify it to be the size we needed for our guests. I displayed it on this wreath that I found at Hobby Lobby that I thought looked like a bird's nest.

We had to have some fun foods and Angry Birds Cookies. My girl Amanda at Semi Sweet Confections really amazes me all the time, but I love these amazing Angry Birds cookies! The TNT boxes are my favorites!

Angry Birds sweets lollis were another fun item that the kids could eat at the party, or take home. Marie at Sweets Indeed customized these for my party theme.

And you know I love some themed food at a party, so we had chicken nuggets (all kids love Chick-Fil-A at a party!),

Pigs in a blanket,

Bird eggs (Cadbury Eggs),

Early bird worms,
and at our beverage station, we drank from the Lake of Wisdom! If you have seen the movie, you know that Mighty Eagle actually pees in the Lake of Wisdom, so that's why we had to serve lemonade. Wink, wink.

We also served water, of course!

At our favor and beverage station, we dressed it up with these oversized 36" balloons (which I also added faces to!) and a cute banner that I whipped up on my Silhouette.

Our favor boxes were filled with lots of Angry Birds goodies from Shindigz.

I displayed them all on another of the big TNT boxes.

My birthday boy had a blast!

After cake, it was time for a waterslide with his buddies!

Next time, don't get Angry planning your party, it's easy!
