Mia's NYC Bat Mitzvah

I love working with other event planners to collaborate on their events! As an event planner, I know it's sometimes so hard to get everything done by yourself, so having another event planner help you with installation and design work is a great idea! Community is a great thing for everyone.
I helped my friend Sheril with this event for a cute girl's NYC themed bat mitzvah.

The guests were welcomed by this Subway themed arch which I personalized with the honoree, Mia's name. It also made such a cute photo backdrop for photo ops.

The guests signed in our our own graffiti wall. I created this on using their brick background. Then, I used my Cricut to create a subway themed header and graffiti all over it.

One of the first things the guests saw was our Statue of Liberty lounge area, which is fitting because it's one of the first things you see in the NY Harbor!

When the guests arrived into the ballroom, it was a real tribute to NYC.
Every corner of the room had an oversized prop!

In the middle of the room, we installed a giant NYC letter marquee prop to mark the kid's lounge area.

Near the kid's buffet, we did a large standee with NYC streets. I love the way it picked up the reflecting light in the room

The party mom is a big fan of dancing, so we did an adults only dance floor in one corner. To dress up this area, I installed 10 oversized skyscrapers.  The backlighting really makes them pop!

Near the adult tables, I did another large building standee.

Of course, there's no NYC party with a Dylan's Candy bar!

At the back of the ballroom, the DJ had the main stage, but in order to extend the focal point, I added a NYC skyline silhouette on either side of the stage.

Thanks to my friend Shindigs by Sheril for having me on this one!
